One of the bigger impact mods that I'm trying out lately is Xepha's Dynamic Weather. It adds sand/dust storms, fog, along with rain and thunderstorms. The sandstorm effect is quite intense, with the sky turning a more redish/rust color and visibility decreasing to less then 100 meters.

One of the minor amusements in Fallout 3 is to kill the raiders just north of the Citadel close to the Brotherhood of Steel gate. When they respawn after a few game days, the two sides will immediately engage in combat. This is made a bit more crazy by the use of Martigen's Mutant Mod, which spawns 1-3 enemies at each of the original spawn points.



This is the approach to the Jefferson Memorial from the western side. I'm also using Mart's Mutant Mod, which is why there are so many additional spawns as well as "Floater" type enemies.
