The cataclysm is coming! The cataclysm is coming! (I bet that the gnomes had something to do with it.)

With the upcoming changes in World of Warcraft's 3rd expansion, named "Cataclysm", Blizzard is going to be doing a very large revamp of the old world zones that haven't been touched since the game was released back in November 2004. A lot of sights that have been familiar for the past 6 years will be vanishing or will be changed drastically. Some zones get split in half (Barrens), others get reworked (Azshara) and some will be left mostly untouched. There will also be minor graphical updates (with the water/lava effects being trumpeted loudly).

I've been doing a lot of video capture the past few weeks, flying from flight point to flight point, or roaming around on a ground mount, seeing how many of the interesting locations I can grab prior to Cataclysm.

This is one of my favorites because of the lushness of Un'Goro crater along with seeing a few of the very large devilsaurs. The devilsaurs have always been a nasty surprise to players because they are elite (can not be soloed by most players of the level range appropriate to the zone) and they make no noise until they are too close to escape from. You'll see the first one at around 2m22s and the second one at around 2m25s.
