This is unmodded Fallout New Vegas gameplay. In this video, I'm using a level 20 character with 56 in explosives and the first level of the Demolition Expert perk along with the new explosives weapons to establish a baseline for how well they work against a variety of foes.

We're starting off in Freeside after purchasing some weapons and ammo (and adding some more using the console). First weapon with the video screen is the Grenade Machinegun which uses a 25mm explosive ammunition. It's not as effective as it sounds in the base game. We then move to the other half of Freeside to pick on the Securitron robots Eventually I had to switch to using Pulse Grenades (very effective but rare) and the Missile Launcher to get the job done. The 40mm Grenade Launcher is also a new weapon in New Vegas and fairly effective, but not great in the base game.

We're starting off in Freeside again. This time using Dynamite, which is a spectacularly ineffective weapon in the base game. The frags are better, but still not what they should be. Only the Missile Launcher seems to pack a punch, but the size of the splash damage limits this to a strictly outdoor weapon.

Starting off in Freeside again. We'll add the Fat Man weapon and a few mini-nukes using the console, then try it out along with some Dynamite.

For this test, I went up to Jacobstown where there are a bunch of Super Mutants to play with. We test out the 25mm Grenade Machinegun, the 40mm Grenade Launcher, the incendiary ammo, the Missile Launcher, the Fat Man and the somewhat gruesome Incendiary Grenades.
